GMO and Growth Hormones Policy

All fish that SalMar farm, from broodstock to finished products, including the feed, are produced according to relevant GMO legislations, like the Norwegian Ministry of Fisheries and Agriculture legislation with changes of September 15, 2005. The  legislations in SalMar’s operating areas are harmonized with EU legislations regarding GMO, like the Regulation (EC) No. 1829/2003 and Regulation (EC) No. 1830/2003.

SalMar does not use GMO or growth hormones in its salmon farming.
